ABOUT
ME
I am Caryn Rouse, L.M.T., certified B.E.S.T. and Spiritual B.E.S.T. practitioner, and Reiki Master. While I know now that it's your body that is truly responsible for its own healing, I’ve always thought that if I could choose a superpower it would be the ability to heal people with my hands. I believe in the body’s innate ability to heal and capacity for spontaneous, miraculous healing. I’ve always had a great interest in health and healing of all kinds. Being a rough and tumble kid and maintaining an active lifestyle, I’ve experienced my share of physical ailments and health challenges. While I haven’t enjoyed ailing, I always really enjoyed learning about different alternative modalities and feel as though I have been collecting experiences of working with different practitioners and experiencing what each modality has to offer. I was always fascinated by the different methods to unlock healing. I have been on a long quest while collecting those experiences to decide what I would do to hone my own superpower and interest in health.
That route took me from a B.A. in Arts and Latin American Studies to a foundation in body work from Carlson College of Massage in Anamosa, IA. A spirit for wanderlust and enjoying nature took me on a diversion to my own nature therapy: working many summers in Glacier National Park. I achieved my Reiki Masters certification through Inner Peace Reiki in Missoula, and have acquired many years of experience working in health and wellness in natural food stores. Discovering B.E.S.T. has been exactly what I’ve been looking to adopt as my quasi superpower. With every session, I am floored by the simple efficacy of the technique. While I believe there are many means to the same end and so many wonderful modalities, I have a calling to this particular work and I am excited to share this!
When I’m not giving sessions, you’ll find me thrilled to be living in Montana, gardening, hiking, backpacking, and Nordic ski touring. I’m most passionate about just being outdoors and spending time in nature with my husband and dog. I love to enjoy this fabulous ecosystem and the abundant opportunities for recreation in every direction. I love to travel, domestic and international, but am always equally as excited to return to Montana.
